Here are some of the exciting new programs we are working on for the 2009 Summer Season:
Nightly Sunset Paddle Tours on Bellingham BayEnjoy the calm winds and beautiful sunsests on Bellingham Bay. This guided tour begins each night between Memorial Day and Labor Day at 6 pm with some education on the basics of sea kayaking and paddling, and then we will hit the water to view eagles, herons, seals, loons, and (weather permitting) a beautiful sunset. "Gato Verde" Mothership Sail and Paddle Tours
This is your chance to experience something completely new and exciting for the San Juan Islands. Come join Elakah staff and the crew of the Gato Verde in a fun and relaxing Sailing and Kayaking expedition thoughout the most remote and beautiful parts of the San Juan Islands. The Gato Verde is the most ecologically sensitive way to travel the San Juan Islands and view the Orca whale pods. It's unique electric motors and sailing option creates very little accoustic signature to disturb the sea life. You will travel the San Juans by sail, then get to the good spots and throw the kayaks to explore in a more intimate setting.
